Moving a parent or other family member into a nursing home or assisted living facility can be an extremely difficult choice. You make the decision because you understand that you do not have the resources to give them the care they need and deserve. You trust that the owners and operators of the facility have their best interests at heart.
Elderly abuse and neglect is not always obvious or intentional, especially today. In Raleigh and throughout North Carolina, the great majority of caregivers love their jobs and work hard.
