GREENWICH -- A 44-year-old Washington County man died after he drove through an intersection Monday night and his car collided with another vehicle in Easton, State Police in Greenwich said this afternoon.

Thomas Wilson of Cambridge crashed his Oldsmobile into a Ford Explorer operated by Dale A. Lang of Huntersville, N.C., around 10:53 p.m. Monday, police said.

Wilson was driving south on Route 113 and failed to yield to the right of way at the intersection of Route 29, police said. He drove into the path of Lang, 62, who was heading west.

Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene. Lang was taken to Saratoga Hospital with leg and chest injuries and released, police said.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
