UNION COUNTY, N.C. -- One person was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries after an SUV and a car collided in Union County.
It happened Friday afternoon on N.C. Highway 218 at Holly School Road.
AirStar 36 over the scene showed severe damage to a red car. Union County officials said the driver of that car was airlifted to CMC.
The white SUV had front-end damage. Officials said the people in that vehicle were not injured.
