CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A Charlotte-Mecklenburg school bus was involved in an accident this morning in southwest Charlotte.
The driver of a car hit the bus and then a utility pole on Sharon Lakes Drive near the intersection of South Boulevard.
The driver of the car has serious injuries. No one on the bus was hurt.
There were five kids on the bus at the time of the accident. They were headed to Turning Point Academy.
