Pedestrian Killed In I-40 Accident in Raleigh, NC
Two lanes of I-40 in Raleigh were closed Friday morning due to a fatal accident involving a pedestrian.
State Highway Patrol reported a vehicle accident blocked two lanes just after Exit 298, South Saunders Street.
Raleigh Communications say a pedestrian was hit by a car and taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. All lanes were re-opened shortly after.
