Charlotte Car Accident: Wrong Way Driver Blamed for Multiple Morning Wrecks
CHARLOTTE, NC - Police say a wrong way driver caused multiple wrecks early Thursday morning in Charlotte.
A car hit the guardrail, trying to avoid the wrong way driver on I-77 near Remount Road.
The driver was heading north in the southbound lanes.
There was also an accident at Tyvola, and one car near LaSalle veered out of the way and into a pole.
Police are investigating. There's no word on what charges police will file against the wrong way driver.
