The N.C. Highway Patrol has released the names of the four passengers in a two-car wreck Tuesday afternoon near the Alamance-Orange county line that killed one.
The accident happened at around 4:15 p.m. when Steven Kimbrough, 51, of Cedar Grove, failed to give the right of way as he turned onto N.C. 54 from Saxapahaw Road, leading to a collision with a 2004 Toyota SUV driven by Kimberly Money, 32, of Swepsonville-Saxapahaw Road in Graham.
The SUV struck the driver’s side of the 1995 Ford station wagon Kimbrough was driving. He died at the scene of the accident.
Money and her two passengers, 12-year-old Maeleia Money and 4-year-old Jacob Murray, as well as Kimbrough’s passengers, 14-year-old Dakotah Kimbrough and 13-year-old Savannah Kimbrough, were taken to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill by ambulance.
Money and the children were reported to be in stable condition Tuesday night.
